Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 2, 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of services by Inwill Integrations, a sole proprietorship operating in the Greater Toronto Area ("Inwill Integrations," "we," "us," or "our") to any person or entity that books, requests, or receives services from us ("Client," "you," or "your"). By booking a service, requesting a quote, or otherwise engaging Inwill Integrations, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services
Inwill Integrations provides residential, commercial, and industrial technical integration services, including but not limited to:
- TV mounting and wall installation
- Garage door installation, repair, and maintenance
- Smart home automation
- Security camera installation and configuration
- Professional networking installation and configuration
Specific service inclusions, exclusions, and pricing tiers are described on our website or in your individual quote/invoice and form part of the agreement between you and Inwill Integrations for that job.
2. Quotes, Pricing & Taxes
- Prices listed on our website and in quotes are estimates based on standard conditions (e.g., standard drywall/stud construction, accessible work areas, standard garage door hardware).
- All prices are subject to Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) unless otherwise stated.
- Quoted prices are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.
- Estimate Accuracy (Consumer Protection Act, 2002, s.10): Where a quote includes a written estimate, the final invoice will not exceed that estimate by more than 10%, except where you agree to a revised price to cover additional or different goods/services (see Change Orders below). If we charge more than 10% above the estimate without your agreement, you are entitled to have the work completed at the original estimated price.
- Change Orders: Any additional parts, hardware, materials, or required labor hours not included in the original quote — including those arising from non-standard conditions discovered on-site (e.g., masonry walls, concrete, unusual mounting heights, non-standard door systems, or hidden structural issues) — will be communicated to you and must be approved via a digital or written Change Order before work proceeds.
3. Booking, Scheduling & Cancellations
- Appointments are confirmed upon booking through our website, phone, or Jobber booking system.
- We aim to provide precise appointment windows; however, arrival times may be affected by factors outside our control (traffic, weather, prior job overruns).
- Client cancellations or reschedules made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation/trip fee, at our discretion.
- Missed appointments where the Client is not present or the property is inaccessible at the scheduled time may be charged a trip/service fee.
- Inwill Integrations reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to weather, safety concerns, illness, or circumstances beyond our control, with reasonable notice to the Client.
4. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your property, walls, mounting surfaces, garage door system, and any known issues prior to the appointment.
- Ensure clear and safe access to the work area.
- Disclose the presence of any electrical, plumbing, or structural elements hidden in walls (e.g., unusual wiring, in-floor heating) where reasonably known to you.
- Remove or secure fragile items, art, or furniture near the work area.
- Ensure any required permits (if applicable to your project) are obtained, unless Inwill Integrations has explicitly agreed to obtain them on your behalf.
- Obtain any required approvals from condominium boards, property managers, homeowners' associations (HOAs), or landlords prior to the installation of exterior equipment (e.g., cameras, garage door components) or the modification of shared/party walls. Inwill Integrations is not responsible for fines, forced removals, or disputes arising from unapproved installations.
Inwill Integrations is not responsible for damage or delays resulting from inaccurate information provided by the Client or from pre-existing conditions not reasonably discoverable prior to beginning work.
5. Payment Terms & Deposits
- Payment Due Date: Payment is due in full immediately upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept payment methods as made available through our invoicing/payment platform (Jobber).
- Deposits: Deposits may be required for larger automation, networking, camera installations, or garage door projects and will be specified in your quote. For projects requiring specialized, custom, or high-value hardware (including but not limited to custom garage door panels, commercial racks, or enterprise networking gear), a deposit sufficient to cover up to 100% of the non-refundable material costs may be required prior to ordering.
- Abandoned Equipment: Any custom-ordered hardware or equipment left in the possession of Inwill Integrations for more than 60 days due to Client unresponsiveness, consecutive scheduling delays caused by the Client, or non-payment shall be deemed abandoned. In such events, any deposits paid towards the equipment shall be forfeit to cover storage, administration, and restocking costs.
- Invoice Review Period: The Client agrees to inspect completed workmanship at the time of service and raise any concerns with the technician before they leave, where reasonably possible. Any further claims regarding deficiencies in our workmanship must be submitted in writing to info@inwillintegrations.ca within 14 days of the invoice date; this is a contractual timeline intended to encourage prompt resolution and does not limit any statutory rights you have under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 to raise concerns after that period.
- Unpaid invoices may be subject to late fees and, where applicable, referral to a collections process.
6. Warranty
Warranty terms are specific to each service category, as outlined below. In all cases, the warranty covers workmanship only — the quality and security of our installation labor — and does not cover the underlying product, third-party equipment, or conditions outside our control.
6.1 TV Mounting
1-Year Workmanship Warranty on all TV mounting installations (stud, masonry/concrete, or drywall anchor): free remediation if a mount fails due to installation error within 1 year.
Excluded: damage from overloading beyond rated capacity, wall material degradation, seismic/impact events, client-performed hardware adjustments/re-tightening, or client-supplied brackets not torque-spec compliant.
6.2 Garage Door Installation & Repair
1-Year Workmanship Warranty on physical installation work (opener mounting, track alignment, panel alignment, and physical wiring). Manufacturer hardware warranties are passed through directly.
Excluded: spring breakage or wear-related failure of unreplaced parts, door balance issues from normal aging, safety sensor impact/obstruction damage after sign-off, panel warping/weather damage.
6.3 Smart Home Automation, Networking & Security
1-Year Workmanship Warranty on physical infrastructure (cable terminations, patch panels, hardware mounting, rack builds). 30-Day Configuration Warranty on initial software setup, device pairing, and scene integration.
Excluded: ISP/router changes, automated firmware or app updates pushed by manufacturers, client-altered settings or passwords, wireless environment interference, and generic platform/app service outages. Excludes complimentary on-site service trips for system lockouts, recovery of forgotten master passwords, or accidental hardware factory-resets performed by the Client.
6.4 General Warranty Terms
- Client-supplied equipment, brackets, TVs, doors, or hardware are not warrantied by Inwill Integrations; we are only responsible for the quality of our installation labor on such items.
- All warranties are void where damage results from misuse, unauthorized modification, third-party work performed after our service, or acts of God.
- To make a warranty claim, contact us at info@inwillintegrations.ca with your original invoice/booking reference and a description of the issue.
7. Limitation of Liability
- Inwill Integrations carries comprehensive commercial general liability insurance and takes all reasonable precautions to protect your property during service, including floor protection and careful handling of equipment.
- Inwill Integrations shall not be held liable for any pre-existing structural defects, improper wall stud spacing/construction, or hidden water, gas, and electrical lines not explicitly disclosed by the client or discoverable using standard digital wall-scanning equipment. Furthermore, Inwill Integrations is not responsible for structural failures or technical network performance degradation resulting from pre-existing structural issues, poorly anchored wall framing, degraded client-supplied in-wall wiring, or inadequate Internet Service Provider (ISP) bandwidth.
- Insurance Alignment: Except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct, Inwill Integrations' liability for third-party property damage or bodily injury resulting from our direct workmanship is limited strictly to the remedies, terms, and maximum limits provided under our active commercial general liability insurance policy.
- For all non-property-damage claims, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Inwill Integrations' total liability is limited to the financial amount paid by the Client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
- Inwill Integrations is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use, loss of data (e.g., network/camera system configurations), or loss of enjoyment.
- Privacy & Surveillance: The Client is solely responsible for ensuring that the placement, recording capabilities, and use of all security cameras, smart doorbells, and surveillance equipment comply with local, provincial, and federal privacy laws. Inwill Integrations assumes no liability for privacy violations, civil claims, or neighbor disputes resulting from the Client's operation or positioning of the installed equipment.
8. Insurance
Inwill Integrations is fully insured. Certificates of insurance are available upon reasonable request for commercial or industrial clients.
9. Photography & Marketing
We may photograph completed work for portfolio and marketing purposes. Images will not include identifying information (e.g., full address, faces) without your explicit written consent. You may opt out of photography by informing your technician before service begins.
10. Force Majeure
Inwill Integrations is not liable for delays or failure to perform services due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government action, labor disputes, or supply chain disruptions affecting parts availability.
11. Dispute Resolution, Governing Law & Consumer Rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. We encourage Clients to first contact us directly at info@inwillintegrations.ca to resolve any concerns or disputes.
Ontario Consumer Protection Notice: Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes, or requires you to waive any statutory rights you possess under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 or other applicable provincial consumer legislation. Any such rights apply regardless of any other term in these Terms.
Booking Method & Cancellation Rights
Most Inwill Integrations bookings are quoted and confirmed by phone, website, or our Jobber booking platform before a technician arrives on site, which generally makes these "remote agreements" under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002.
Where a quote or price is instead negotiated and finalized in person at your property (for example, an on-site quote you sign with the technician), this may instead be a "direct agreement" under the Act. The following notice applies to any such direct agreement:
Your Rights Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002: You may cancel a direct agreement at any time until 10 days after you receive a signed copy of it, without giving any reason. If you ask us to begin work sooner and later cancel within that period, Inwill Integrations is entitled to reasonable compensation for work completed before you gave notice of cancellation. You may also have other rights, duties, and remedies at law — for more information, contact Consumer Protection Ontario. To cancel, notify us at info@inwillintegrations.ca or 437-524-5436.
12. Changes to These Terms
Inwill Integrations may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on our website at the time of booking governs that engagement. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
